Seth Haak – Christian Graphic Artist

Seth Haak creates faith-based art along the California coast. He’s inspired by art that is full of beauty and adventure, grace and redemption. As a Christian graphic artist, He often meditates on the parables Jesus told his followers—stories that were sometimes obscure and obtuse, yet carried rich, multi-layered truths even when the narrative was simple to follow.

Seth is motivated to create art and stories that not only make his own heart sing, but also the kind he wants his kids to grow up reading—stories and images that speak openly about Christ, spirituality, trials, and forgiveness. He seeks to produce creative expressions that participate in the process of bringing the cosmos to light in the midst of the chaos.

He is husband to Mandy and father to Chandon, Shalom, and River. Born and raised in the Church, Seth has a long history with grace, redemption, making art, and doing life with Jesus and family. His tastes are an unusual blend of Orthodox Christian iconography, old-school sailor tattoos, early 20th-century American illustration, comic books and graphic novels, anime, punk rock, and classic literature.
